Keith Urban says sometimes he has to be ‘Mr. Mom’ but he isn’t complaining. The country music singer tells CMT insider that he loves to care for 2-month-old daughter Sunday Rose while wife Nicole Kidman is filming.

“When my wife’s working and I’ve got time off, I’m just Mr. Mom during the day, taking care of the little girl,” Urban says.

The 40-year-old was in Australia for several weeks while Kidman, also 40, was filming the upcoming epic ‘Australia’ with Hugh Jackman. Now Kidman and Sunday are in London where the actress is rehearsing for the musical ‘Nine,’ starring Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Daniel Day-Lewis.

Urban says this year he has been flying to see Kidman and their daughter between his tour dates but next year plans to take wife and baby along with him.

“That’s what we’ll do next year. Just balancing touring with being home, it’s good to have them out on the road…so we’re not apart very much,” he said.
